Alessio Allegrini è presidente del “Movimento Musicians for Human Rights” e Direttore Artistico della “Human Rights Orchestra”, MFHR, che si occupa di sostenere lo sviluppo della cultura dei Diritti Umani attraverso la musica.
Sotto la sua direzione l’Orchestra si è esibita per il terzo anno consecutivo presso la sala del KKL di Lucerna (Svizzera), con solisti di prestigio quali Maria João Pires, Hélène Grimaud, Laurie Rubin e Isabelle Faust.
In veste di direttore ha esordito circa 10 anni fa, dirigendo presso la Simphony Hall di Osaka un concerto tenuto da un’orchestra formata da donne e un gruppo di 87 corni francesi, destando enorme curiosità e un caloroso successo di pubblico. Nel marzo scorso Allegrini ha debuttato presso il Teatro Lirico di Cagliari dirigendo Wagner e Brahms ottenendo grande successo anche di critica.
Primo corno solista dell’Orchestra Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Lucerne Festival Orchestra e Orchestra Mozart, all’età di 23 anni viene scelto da Riccardo Muti come primo corno solista presso il Teatro alla Scala di Milano. French horn virtuoso ALESSIO ALLEGRINI is one of Europe’s most sought-after solo and orchestral performers. Born in Sabina on the outskirts of Rome, at 23 Alessio won the position of solo horn with La Scala under the direction of Riccardo Muti, where he served from A prize winner of both the ARD Munich Horn and Prague Spring competitions, he made his debut as solo horn with the Berlin Philharmonic under the baton of Claudio Abbado in , and was subsequently invited as guest solo horn for an entire season. Esteemed for his solo horn performances of the symphonic repertoire, Alessio has worked with many of the world’s pre-eminent conductors, including Carlo Maria Giulini, Pierre Boulez, Daniel Barenboim, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Lorin Maazel, Marek Janowski, Myung-Whun Chung, Mariss Jansons, Valery Gergiev, Simon Rattle, Antonio Pappano, Riccardo Muti.

A che età hai iniziato? E come è nata la passione per il corno?
A 7 anni la musica e a 12 il corno con il Maestro Giovanni Saccani.
Mio padre mi ha regalato un Lp di Bujanovsky dei concerti di Mozart.
Provieni da una famiglia di musicisti?
No, mio padre suonava il sax in banda ma ho iniziato insieme ai miei fratelli, sopratutto perché&#; ero troppo magro e piccolo per andare a scuola calcio e quindi non mi hanno accettato.
Quali sono stati i cornisti che hanno influenzato la tua carriera cornistica sia da studente che da professionista?
Dennis Brain e suo padre.
Il metodo di studio che consiglieresti ad un giovane cornista?
Prendi il corno e fai uscire ogni suono possibile.
Cerca il colore del suono prima di tutto, poi il resto è solo tecnica. Il colore del suono fa capire lo spessore dei sentimenti che hai nel tuo cuore.
Quanto è importante il warm-up e la tecnica giornaliera?
Studia 10 ore al giorno finché sei in tempo! Con la famiglia questo non ti sara&#; concesso.
