Biography of Anthony Green
Early Life and CareerAnthony Green is an American musician who is currently the vocalist for the bands Circa Survive and Saosin, as well as pursuing a solo career. He has also been a part of other bands such as Audience of One and The Sound of Animals Fighting. Green is known for his high tenor voice.
Green formed his first band with his classmate Tommy Dougherty in while they were in high school. Initially, Dougherty played guitar while Green sang and played bass. They later added drummer Evan Madden to the band. Green wanted to name the band Saosin, but Dougherty and Madden disagreed. Before settling on the name Audience of One, the band performed under the names Handsome Pete and The Bill Bixby Experience. Due to Madden's busy schedule, they had to find a new drummer. How have you been doing throughout the pandemic?
Right now I&#;m pretty good. I think I&#;ve found a good regiment of things to spend my time on that are positive and fulfilling. I spend a lot of time with my kids, and I&#;ve been writing. I just came home from tour, and shows have opened back up which has been great. I&#;d say the pandemic crushed me a bit emotionally, but I stayed very productive the whole time. Anthony Green is an American musician and is currently the lead singer of an Indie rock group named Circa Survive. He is a songwriter, guitarist and singer who has been in multiple bands as well as has a solo career. He first started singing at the age of 7, and by the time he was in his school’s senior year, he was already performing on stage. In , he and his classmates started out with the band Audience of One, although they performed at places under the name of &#;Handsome Pete&#;. They hired a drummer and divided the bass and lead guitar amongst themselves with Anthony on the vocals. Their first single I Remember When This All Meant Something, was recorded and released in the summer of , which was distributed by Skylight Studios.
But the following year, the band was dismembered as everyone went their ways to join college and study further. But Green started working with new band mates; and recorded the first album &#;Jeer At Rome&#;, which was a hardcore metal.
