Paillé est facilement élu candidat du Bloc dans Hochelaga

Daniel Paillé, un ancien ministre du gouvernement de Jacques Parizeau, a facilement remporté l'assemblée d'investiture du Bloc québécois dans la circonscription de Hochelaga, jeudi soir, en vue de l'élection partielle du 9 novembre.
Selon les résultats fournis par David Lefebvre, attaché de presse du Bloc, M. Paillé a reçu l'appui de militants, comparativement à 29 pour son seul rival, Jean Baribeau.
Ce dernier s'est présenté à l'assemblée d'investiture malgré le fait, selon ce qu'il a déclaré à un quotidien montréalais en début de semaine, qu'il ait été invité à se retirer de la course afin de laisser toute la place à M. Paillé.
M. Baribeau a notamment affirmé avoir reçu un appel du chef de cabinet de Gilles Duceppe, mardi matin, puis de M. Duceppe lui-même à peine quelques minutes plus tard. Les dirigeants du Bloc québécois ont nié ces allégations.
